DJ Cope
DJ first started in theater working spotlights for YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN. Since then, DJ realized they have a huge love for theater. This will be DJ's first show outside of school, and it's an exhilarating leap being able to embrace the artistic freedom of storytelling without the limitations of censoring and modifying words and phrases that weren't suitable for a school stage. This feels almost like another debut into theater, where now DJ can seek out shows they've wanted to be in since their passion for theater began. DJ has been in love with Heather's, The Musical the longest of their theatrical years, so it seems only fitting it's their first out of school show. DJ thinks one of the reasons theater is so appealing to them is because everything's always in some kind of flux. There's no way to really know what your next show is going to be, or who you'll be portraying in it. DJ loves the freedom it gives and the experiences of meeting so many different people, forming connections with directors, musicians and other actors that you may end up working with again out of the blue.
